Pretty Pixie from Halmahera
This is The standardwing (Semioptera wallacii) also known as Wallace’s standardwing, is a species of bird-of-paradise. It is the only member in monotypic genus Semioptera. This Maluku endemic bird can be found on Halmahera Island and Bacan Island in North Maluku.
The original habitat is in Tanah Putih forests, Gamkonora mountains and Domato forests in West Halmahera, Labi-labi forests in the area of Aketajawe National Park and Lolobata forest in East Halmahera.
